By creating a Mockat account or purchasing any plan, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mockat Education Private Limited ("Mockat," "we," "us," or "our"). By registering for an account, accessing the platform, or purchasing any subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use Mockat's services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use Mockat. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Mockat reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at its sole discretion.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Do not share your account credentials with others — each subscription is for individual use only
- Notify us immediately at info@mockat.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- You may not create more than one active account per individual
- Accounts created using false information will be terminated without refund
4. Subscriptions, Plans & Payments
Plan access
Mockat offers several subscription plans (Mocks Only, Self Study, Classroom, Unlimited) as described on the Pricing page. Each plan grants access to a specific set of features for the duration specified at the time of purchase. Plan access is non-transferable and for individual use only.
Pricing and billing
All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST at 18%. Payment is collected in full at the time of purchase. Mockat does not offer instalment plans unless explicitly stated at checkout.
Partial payments & access suspension
- Platform access is conditional on all instalments being paid by their respective due dates
- In the event of non-payment of any instalment, Mockat reserves the right to suspend access immediately
- Suspension does not extend your subscription period — the original expiry date remains unchanged
- Partial payments are non-refundable
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Mockat platform — including but not limited to mock tests, question banks, video lessons, and the platform software itself — is the exclusive intellectual property of Mockat Education Private Limited.
You may not copy, record, reproduce, redistribute, publish, sell, or create derivative works from any Mockat content without our prior written consent.
Your subscription grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own educational purposes only.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Share, resell, or provide access to your account to any other person
- Screen-record, screenshot, or distribute any premium content or live sessions
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the platform
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the platform's software or content
- Post content that is defamatory, offensive, or infringes third-party rights
- Disrupt or interfere with the platform or other users' experience
7. Platform Availability
Mockat strives to maintain high platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen technical issues may occasionally result in downtime. We will endeavour to communicate planned maintenance in advance.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Mockat's platform and content are provided "as is" and "as available." Mockat makes no warranties — express or implied — including accuracy of educational outcomes. Mockat does not guarantee any specific percentile, score, or admission result.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mockat's total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for your active subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Mockat reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination for cause, no refund will be issued. You may close your account at any time by writing to info@mockat.com.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you at least 7 days before they take effect. Your continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
