The Institute of Management Technology’s (IMT) common application form for round 2 is now open for all 4 campuses in Ghaziabad, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Dubai.

After the submission of the application form, based on exam scores and profile, a call from any one of the 4 institutes can be expected. First preference will be given for those who applied in the first round (the first round of common applications ended in December 2023).

Points to consider:

The accepted exams for entrance in all the four campuses are CAT, XAT, and GMAT. The CMAT exam is only accepted in IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad.

There are no sectional cut-offs for admissions in IMT campuses.

In the following table, the different institutes’ individual exam cut-offs, fees, number of seats available and expected salary package after placement is given:

Eligibility Criteria:

A minimum 3 years Bachelor’s Degree in any field with a minimum 50% aggregate marks.

CAT 2023 score or XAT 2024 score or GMAT scores taken between January 1, 2020 and January 25, 2024 can be submitted for IMT Ghaziabad.

CAT 2023 score or XAT 2024 score or GMAT score taken between January 1, 2020 and January 25, 2024, or CMAT 2024 scores can be submitted for IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad. (Note: Please again note that CMAT scores are considered only in IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad.)

Selection Criteria:

Candidates are chosen based on the strength of their academic background, entrance exams scores and work experience, though work experience is not mandatory to be eligible for application.

2. The application fees is Rs. 3500

3. Complete the online application process by providing personal information, academic qualifications, exam details, and work experience if applicable.

4. A profile detail form needs to be submitted, in which, if applicable to your profile, it is mandatory to submit the annual report of the company that you are currently working at or were working at before. (Note: There is no deadline for submitting the profile detail form.)

Shortlisting Process:

  • Applicants are shortlisted based on profiles and eligibility.
  • Applicants must also meet the required scores in the relevant entrance tests for each institute.
  • After profile evaluation, applicants are sorted into two groups: Profile based, and Non-Profile based.

The shortlisted candidates will appear for a critical thinking test and a personal interview on the day of the admission process.
