MICAT 2022 - MICA Admission Test

MICAT

MICA Admission Test (MICAT) is a national level online entrance exam conducted by Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad. The exam is conducted twice in a year for the candidates interested in Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at MICA, and the best score of both is considered. The main program offered at this institute is Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communication (PGDM-C). The exam duration was reduced from 2 hours 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 mins in 2020, due to the COVID precautions. The final selection will be based on the performance of candidates in CAT/GMAT/XAT, MICAT, Group Exercise and Personal Interview.

Eligibility

Qualification: The aspirants must be in possession of Bachelor’s Degree under 10 + 2 + 3 pattern of any equivalent qualification in any AIU recognized discipline. The candidates who are currently in the last year of Bachelor’s program are also eligible for application.

The applicants must be in possession of valid scores of CAT 2021, XAT 2022, GMAT (2020 onwards) to be eligible for MICAT.

Pattern

Number of sections: 3 Section A (25 minutes) - Psychometric Test - 35 questions
Section B (105 minutes) - Verbal Ability (25 questions), Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation (25 questions), General Awareness (25 questions), Divergent & Convergent Thinking (30 questions)
Section C (35 minutes) - Descriptive Test (4 questions)

Total number of questions 125 - 145 questions approximately
Marking scheme Each correct answer will carry +1 mark and incorrect answer will carry -0.25 Marks in the total.
