Mockat's Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) lessons are structured for CAT aspirants who want to move beyond rote preparation and build the reading and reasoning skills that the exam actually rewards. The course spans six chapters — Usage and Grammar, Paragraph Structure, Verbal Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Author's PoV, and WAT-PI — giving complete VARC coverage in one place.
Each lesson module is taught by Sanjana, Mockat's VARC faculty and a CAT 99+ percentiler specialising in VARC. The course emphasises the Author's PoV method, a structured approach to mapping an author's stance, tone, and implied arguments — the exact skill that separates high scorers in CAT RC sections. Students who complete the RC and PoV modules average a 10+ percentile jump in VARC within two months of consistent study.
