2. Pronouns

Pronouns are words which are used in place of nouns. Pronouns are used to avoid repetition of a noun.
For instance, instead of stating:

Vishnu is five years old. Vishnu lives in Chennai. Vishnu goes to Good Heart School. Vishnu likes reading.
we can say
Vishnu is five years old. He lives in Chennai. He goes to Good Heart School. He likes reading.

Example: I, me, mine, you, yours, yourselves, he, she, his, him, her, himself, herself, we, us, our, ourselves, they, them, themselves, this, that, these, those, it, itself, who, whom, etc.

I live in Mumbai.
She teaches underprivileged children twice a week.
You are crazy!
That is not true.
It has been a month since I went out.
We just finished all the eggs.
He gave me an expensive gift.
Harshita just showed us a fine example of colonial architecture.
The police arrested her yesterday.
This is amazing.
It is girls like you who should be praised.
