The Butterfly Effect explains that small changes can result in larger consequences in complex system (e.g. weather prediction, climate change). Lorenz , who came up with this concept, uses it to show that it is not possible for us to predict how complex systems will behave. Human changes can bring up unexpected results or harm because of our inability to predict all the results. Solution – we need to understand more about the effects, and minnimise change in natural systems
